To position itself even better in the dynamic insurance environment and the healthcare sector, which is in a state of upheaval, Groupe Mutuel is undergoing a digital transformation process that is anchored in its overall strategy and entails changes in the people, processes, and technology. Groupe Mutuel’s stated goal is to increasingly put the customer at the center of all the group’s activities.

Groupe Mutuel started its journey with the setup of cloud foundations that supported the implementation of Dynamics 365, by leveraging the capabilities of Microsoft Azure in security and compliance (Defender, Azure AD, Swiss Data localization, network connectivity).

The next challenge is to enable a “multiplier effect” by combining proprietary and third-party solutions into a complete ecosystem. To achieve this goal, Groupe Mutuel enables its business strategy by leveraging the capabilities of the Microsoft catalog: data processing (Azure Databricks, AzureML, PowerBI, Azure Event Hub) as well as opportunistic (Elastic Search) and foundational cloud capabilities (O365/Teams, Azure Kubernetes Service).
